Obama: it’s too easy to blame you for the watering down and sometimes sell-outs by the more right-wing of the Democrats&Republican senators..but you need to tell them it’s their own selling out to right-wing corporate interests, that got them into this mess. If they were too timid to pass single payer, then at least the Senate should have passed national exchanges (not statebased)and fund by tax on top 0.3% richest, like House did. By refusing, they lit a match for populist anger..

  4. ritavillezulu says:

Human nature has a scale: left/right. Place on the scale is proportional to insecurity and denial one has for Nature. With more anxiety a person will delude himself that Nature is controllable. Anxiety is reduced by a belief in a hierarchical grid that governs Nature. God on top/Niggers and Jews on the bottom. Sex and death cannot be controlled, there is no purpose to our existence. If conservatives would unclench their assh@le they would see that hierarchy reduces anxiety, but ruins their soul.

THE current bill is not the answer ,,,does not address proper Tort Reform, “undocumented” access for expensive non-life threatening HC , & does not provide MOST IMPORTANTLY an OPT OUT Provision for those that believe it is still too bloated with waste & inefficiencies resulting in inflated premiums not in keeping with services provided.
….A mandate stuffed inside a trojan horse bill for HC is a skunk in the road…too stupid to debate…
REPEAL the BIll nobody ever wanted

  8. ruviecita says:

Everyone needs to see the movie SICKO. I feel sick after watching it.. this country is a fake, we don’t even take care of our soldiers or the people who helped out in 911 who we refer as “HEROES”. They are just another political tool. Drug and Insurance companies are robbing from all of us!!!

  9. poohbudpita says:

Our insurance premiums have a bit more than doubled since ‘02.

    My employer doesn’t offer coverage.

I see the profits of insurance companies and wonder how they make that much. Are they overcharging? Are they denying care to people that need it?

Why do working people like us side with multi-billion dollar corporations? It seems clear they are stealing from us

Why are Senators and Reps not required to recuse themselves if they take campaign donations from health care organizations?

  10. runawayushould says:

Waiting to see a doctor 6 to 8 months. Can’t wait. Then being told they won’t cover it, even better. Obamacare a joke!

  15. AskWhyNow2day says:

The content of Obama’s character is a slick lying politician.

He and everyone else now knows he’s a Marxist.

Like a typical Marxist, he wants total control and power. AND he’s doing it.

What a lie this man “proudly” represents.

  16. jch450 says:

Might want to check your facts. Read the new bill by that ass in the senate. It will add 250,000,000,000.00 in new taxes to people with good insurance programs. You know. People like UNION workers. Oops… Firefighters. ACK. Police Yikes.
Yep. He just setup up a 250 billion tax againt middle class peple making way less than 250K a year. More lies from the Bamster.

  17. jch450 says:

He has not done ANYTHING to provide for any copst savings. Lies that fruad will be reduced are laughable. There are nearly 100 proposals in congress that will REALLY reform medical care and cut costs. DEMOCRATS prevent them from even getting to teh floor for votes.

  18. barryobamasoetoro says:

My fellow Americans make sure you get your swine flu shot as it is your patriotic duty to prevent this pandemic and your IBM Verichip RFID implant as this will keep you safe from terrorists. In addition this chip will speed up checkpoints, grocery checkout and financial transactions. This also allows medical professionals instant access to medical records in the case of an accident or medical situation.

  19. michaelsantarini says:

    Go go go!

  20. gkgreger says:

Obama’s healtcare program will expand the privet HMO & Insurance industry which is going broke because of bad investments in the Stock Market. We will be forced to buy and carry insurance if we want medical treatment. A medical panel will determine who will get medical treatment based of cost effectiveness. Obama’s program is just another Wall Street bailout paid for by us. Obama is a Wall Street prostitute that will give head to get ahead. Google Video: OTC PM Report September 10, 2009

  22. SirDivster says:

Obama needs to be held at bay for 4 years while we wait to vote for another president. This administration has no forethought and respect for the United States.Better he accomplishes nothing.

  23. lillysd says:

    3. Will our taxes go up? Not unless you are loaded and then only 1 or 2 pennies on the dollar: Health Care Surtax. A one percentage point income tax surtax would be imposed, starting at $280,000 per year
($350,000 for couples), plus another percentage point at $400,000 per year
(500,000 for couples), will then rise
to three points on more than $800,000 per year ($1 million for couples) in 2011.

  24. lillysd says:

    2. What does it cover? One proposal (HR 3200)says it will cover this: Government‐Run Public Option. This option creates an essential benefits package that provides a comprehensive set of services and covers 70 percent of the actuarial value of the covered benefits. The essential benefits must include well‐baby,
well‐child, oral health, vision, hearing, equipment and supplies for children under the age of 21, along
with preventive services with no cost‐sharing.

  25. lillysd says:

    1. It will costs significantly less than it does now. here are the facts: National health spending is expected to reach $2.5 trillion in 2009, accounting. By 2018, national health care expenditures are expected to reach $4.4 trillion—more than double 2007 spending.
Over the last decade, employer-sponsored health insurance premiums have increased 119 percent. 4
Employee’s share jumped during this period jumping from $1,543 to $3,354.4 per year
