TURP equates to trans urethral resection of prostate. It is the diagnosis for soft prostatic hyperplasia. The video shows how this endoscpic operation is performed.

    Chaotic resection, no landmarks used, resection being shifted from left to right. That prostate had at least 60-80 cc, only 40 removed. Anyway, the patient will feel good now and the dr will have to operate again in 2-3 years, telling the patient the adenoma reccured. HO, ho, ho

    Very good video.I just had my TURP this past Monday. My urinary retention was so severe that it was damaging my kidneys.
